Retirement Announcement

I have decided that in the not to distant future, within the next several months and certainly before Christmas day and my 70th birthday I am going to permanently retire from the Airgun Tuning business.

My reasoning is I have too many irons in the fire and have been working 10-12-14 hour and quite often even longer days, six and seven days a week. Tuning eats up a lot of the clock, and puts me constantly on my feet. My legs and feet  are telling me it’s time to set down. There are the trips delivering shipping to FedEx. I get 50 to 75 e-mails or more every day and as every one knows, each and every one of them are answered. Then there are the PM’s.  Then there are the orders to be filled and the mailings and more. Then there are all of the personal home responsibilities. I'm tired.

The CDT website will still be on line and maintained just as it always has and the GTA will continue to be promoted from here as always. I will still maintain and continue the marketing side here which would include the GRT-III trigger and might bring in some other past items. Time will tell.

I will still be the Administrative Co-founder of the Gateway To Airguns forum and active on our forum, and maybe even more so as I will hopefully then have more time to dedicate to it.

So in essence, the only part that I will be retiring from is the tuning aspect of it and will probably still more busy than I want to be but at least I will have some breathing room. It will be a big burden off my back and some breathing room. I will be depleting my stock of tuning parts and inventory and as the parts for different guns move from the shelf, they will not be replaced and I’ll no longer tune those guns.

Hey gang… I’m jist gittn’ old and I’m gittn tired.
